Bittersweet Descent, based in White Plains, NY, came together in 2022 after various collaborations that grew out of Mark Grossman's first independent studio EP project. Currently comprised of Mark Grossman, Jamie Altieri, Pat DeBallonia, and Michael Calle, BSD crafts original, genre-busting, emotionally-charged, high-energy material, built around melodic hooks and driving drums, bass, and guitars. The band's blending of folk, country, rock, and punk generates performances that can swing both seamlessly and wildly between styles and sounds. ​
